Sunday Favorites

I'm joining Chari's Sunday Favorites again today. Thanks to Chari for hosting so we can post something that was on our blog a while ago. Click on her name to go there for lots more fun, or if you would like to join in as well.

This Pillow Talk post was almost two years ago on January 27, 09. I bought this pillow at Kirkland's, it is in our family room. I would like to show you a few more of pillows in our house, but first I want to show you our two-year-old grandson, Caden's, new "big boy bed" and his monogrammed pillow. How cute is that! (Note: Caden is now 4 years old and doesn't need the guard rails anymore!)

And below, is Caden's parents bed with their monogrammed pillows! Very pretty!

The pillows below are on the bed in our guest room.

This pillow is made from a vintage towel and stuffed with lavender, it smells heavenly!

I mentioned my "Grits" pillow recently, Grits is "Girls Raised In The South."

The pillow below is made from an old quilt, with a doiley sewn on top.

Pillow below has an embroidered tea towel sewn on top.

Below is an embroidered and smocked baby pillow cover.

The yellow heart is made from chenille, the pillow on the left is the back of the "Grits" pillow.

This tapestry look pillow, below is made from a table runner, cut in half. I just wrapped it around a small travel pillow and sewed the ends together.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the pillows in our house.

Many blessings!!

Katherine

Hi Katherine...

Ohhh...you DO have some beautiful pillows, my friend! I have such a "thing" for pretty pillows and have way too many! wink! Wait...what am I saying? One can never have to many pretty pillows! Hehe! I love your daughter and grandson's pretty monogrammed pillows. I don't have a monogrammed pillow...I think I need to remedy that little problem...wink! Katherine, I love the pillow with the pretty crochet doilies on top...that is sooo beautiful! And...I love the embroidered pillow of the southern belle...with her gorgeous crocheted skirt! That is just gorgeous!!! But my favorite pillow is that smocked pillow with that petite embroidered design...ohhh, I just adore that!!! Well dear friend, you certainly have a fabulous collection of pretty pillows...thank you so much for sharing them with us for Sunday Favorites this week! Ohhh...my heart by still!!!

I'm so sorry about getting by so late for a visit...I have fallen behind! Eeeks! I hope that my note finds you and your sweet family all doing well!

Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
