Tablescape Thursday

I'm sharing a daisy theme for today's Tablescape Thursday.
A green salad will be served with sweet iced tea.

For the centerpiece I filled a small wicker doll chair with shasta daisies
and used my Daisy Girl figurine.

The Daisy Girl figurine is holding a wide-brim hat full of daisies and
she has one daisy close to her face. Her dress has 3-D daisies on it.

For the tablecloth I layered yellow fabric over a lace tablecloth.

Large white plates are used for the chargers, with yellow Fiesta salad plates on top.
Also shown is a tiny daisy bowl that can be used for names on a place card.

I made the napkins from spring green polka dot fabric,
tied with ribbon, and a daisy button on top.

I found the daisy buttons at Wal-mart, they are also sprinkled on the table top.

I found this daisy tea cup at Cracker Barrel a few years ago, along with the tiny daisy bowls.

Daisy cookies will be served for dessert. They are on a Southern Living plate
with a yellow polka dot ribbon tied through the ribbon spot.

More daisy cookies (which are made from bought butter cookies and yellow frosting) are served on another Southern Living platter with wider yellow polka dot ribbon decorations.
Please help yourself to a daisy cookie, or two before you hop over to see more beautiful tablescapes here.

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Katherine

Oh I love daisies, and you have created the most wonderful tablescape. Your little figurine with her daisies is so lovely. She look so sweet with her hat. How clever to make the cookies and then the daisy buttons are so charming also. Very creative. Love it all. Hugs, Marty

I love your daisy tablescape. And your little daisy bowls and the tea cup & saucer are just too cute. I love how you used daisy buttons as scatters on the table. Your table brings a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing.

What a cheerful table you set! I'm a sucker for yellow. And daisies. If I'd lived near you, I'd have cut dozens of daisies from my garden for your lovely table.

Hi Katherine...

Well I'm a little late getting over to see your tablescape...my apologies!

My friend, this tablescape is absolutely gorgeous...so fresh...so sweet...and so soft!!! I love the yellow and bright garden green together...ohhh, and with the daisies...so perfect! What a grand idea for a centerpiece...I love the little white wicker chair and it's so pretty with the daisies in it!!! And your girl figurine...spectacular...I really love it!!! She's beautiful and again so perfect in keeping with your daisy theme!!! I think that the two paired together makes a unique and beautiful centerpiece!!!

Your placesetting is lovely...love the white plates with the pretty yellow fiesta ware salad plate! But I have to tell you that I think your cute little green and white polka dot napkins with the little daisy on top...is the show stopper! It was the first thing to catch my eye!!! I just love that you added that pretty green to the white and yellow...this is such a pleasing color combination! Thank you so much for sharing your beautifully done table with all of us!!!

Happy Mother's Day!
Warmest wishes,
Chari

This tablescape is the quintessential
spring setting. You've got so many wonderful details. My favorite (among many) are the daisy and ladybug cups and bowls.
The daisy button napkin rings are the piece de resistance.

Please come by and see my Mothers Day ideas.

sweet wishes,
Sara
