Naples, FL

Today we went to Naples, FL for the day. Naples is very close to Marco Island where we are staying this week. Naples is one of Florida's most beautiful cities. I want to share some pictures we took of downtown Naples. The palm tree lined streets and Spanish architecture is so pretty!

The buildings are in pastel colors of yellow, pink, peach, etc.

There are many restaurants with sidewalk dining.

such as these

How would you like to live in this apartment on the main street?

Naples has one of the largest Chico's stores.
The original Chico's is located nearby at Sanibel Island.

Have you ever seen a PINK Wal-Mart?? There's one near Marco Island!

We kept seeing these beautiful orange trees and we're trying to learn the name of them.

Close-up of the blossom and leaves. Do you know what they are called?

This street in Naples was lined with the orange trees.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a little of Naples. We went there to go to a tea room, I'll tell you about the lovely tea room in a few days!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Katherine

Very pretty! I'm afraid I didn't see much of it when I was there with Honey Bear on business.

A pink WalMart...I love it!! Naples looks to be such a beautiful place and I know I would love to walk along the main street! I've always been fascinated with architecture. I wish I knew the name of that tree with the orange blossoms, they really are striking, aren't they!!

Happy belated Mother's Day to you, dear Katherine:-) xoxo

What a gorgeous place, KK. I now know I want to visit there sometime. It looks like you and Hubby had a great time.
We'll have to get together there sometime.

Hi Kathrine
I think the trees in Naples are ponceana trees. That what we call them in Brisbane Australia. The weather here is a lot like Florida and the trees are quite mangnificent when they bloom in the summer.
God bless
