Show and Tell - Valentine Decor

Time for Kelli's Show and Tell. Go here for lots more fun!

Today I'm sharing more of my Valentine's Day decor. Above is the dining room table centerpiece. I made it with three "bell jars." I've heard these glass covers called cloches, but now I like the name bell jars!

I have been wanting a "cloche" for a long time, but couldn't find one at a reasonable price. I put one on my Christmas list, and my daughter found the big one (above) at Pier 1! They didn't know what a "cloche" was, because they call them "bell jars!" I already had the glass cake plate that has the crystals around it.

For Valentine's Day I'm displaying silk roses in them!

After Christmas I found this medium sized bell jar, (above) for only $11. The same day I went to Marshall's and found the little crystal cake plate for $8, it was perfect to set this bell jar on!

I was at Ross one day and found this small bell jar, that has it's own stand, these were only $6 for both pieces! I believe these are called domed pastry plates. They are so cute!

I put this little ring keeper angel inside and placed a tiny foil heart on her hand,

She looks like she is blowing a kiss to the heart!

I think the three sizes together look great!

Do you decorate for Valentine's Day?

Katherine

What a pretty way to decorate for Valentine's.
My little 5 year old said that the one with the roses reminds him of the rose in Beauty & the Beast. (thats a good thing to a five yr. old) lol.

Oh, very pretty! They look pretty both standing alone and grouped together :0)
I love these cloches/bell jars for the simple fact that we're able to decorate them as the seasons change.
Thanks for sharing, have a great day!

Very pretty-I have some too. I like what you are displaying inside them. I do decorate a bit for Valentine's Day, but not quite ready to show my things as I need to find another box of tchotchkes!

Great taste you have there! Don't you just love ROSS? I have gotten some great things there not to mention that I buy my teenage sons shoes (VANS & AIRWALKS) from them at ridiculously lower prices!!

I don't decorate for V-Day. I think it's because I do SO much at Christmas that the thought of putting out stuff just isn't appealing to me!

Yes....I think I like the term 'bell jar' best too. And so lovely. Now do tell...where do we find these lovely jars? I would like to have one myself....

And to answer your question, I do a centerpiece for the dining room table for Valentine's Day. IN fact I posted about it this week...on Monday. With photos.

My Show n Tell is posted now, hope you can drop by. It's going to be a 3-parter so it won't take so long for loading.

Your vignettes are delightful...such creative arrangements of various objects. The cloches really set them off.

I haven't been posting as much as I would like since my mother has been ailing and it takes a lot more time to attend to her (and to the visiting nurse, physical therapist, and home health aide.)

But whenever I can, i visit other blogs even if I can't take the time to comment.
Have agreat week!
