Valentine Tablescape

I wanted to do a Valentine tablescape, but didn't have a clue of what to do. I started looking around the house for something to use and found all this!

I've had this silhouette picture a few years, but don't think I've ever used it on my blog

I bought it at an antique shop in Cocoa Beach, FL while on vacation. It isn't an antique as they had lots of them all in different designs. I had a hard time deciding which one to buy!

It works well for this centerpiece, don't you think?

I have square red chargers and red polka dot square plates so I started to "build" a place setting with those.
I added a square black plate and red heart shaped ramkins. Red voltines are inside them now, but I'm going to make brownies in them tomorrow!

I layered a red tablecloth and this lace tablecloth:

Can you see the tiny heart cutouts on the red tablecloth?

I think I bought both of these tablecloths at Ross years ago.

The "crystal" is from Dollar Tree

Some of the faux red roses are also from Dollar Tree

Instead of putting a rose on the napkins I placed them beside the ramkins

I'm very happy with how this red, black and white Valentine tablescape came together!
We aren't having guests for dinner, but we are enjoying seeing this tablescape daily
I'm joining Kathleen's Let's Dish , Susan's Tablescape Thursday, and The Tablescaper's Seasonal Sunday. Click on their names for lots more inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed my Valentine Tablescape.
Happy Valentine's Day!

More Valentine Decor

I'm posting a few more of my Valentine decorations and will join Marty's Winter Cloche Party, click on her name for lots more inspiration.

The wire basket above is filled with heart ornaments and vintage look candy boxes. This basket is included in a Valentine vignette on our coffee table in our family room.

The basket, the metal terrarium, and the book and candles are usually always on the coffee table and I change the decorations with each season.

The figurines inside the terrarium "cloche" were a gift to me from my Aunt Catherine back in the late 60s.

My favorite cloche is this one:

I recently posted it on my blog, click here to see that post.

It is displayed on the curio cabinet in our dining room

The lantern candle box came from Hobby Lobby about two years ago.
The figurine came from Home Goods a few years ago

This has been one of my favorite vignettes and I will hate to change it after Valentine's Day!

A blogger friend gave me the faux cupcake several years ago.

It looks so real!!

I always think of her when I see it!

A while back a lot of bloggers were posting cupcake liners in jars and I just had to do that as well! I found this adorable jar at Hobby Lobby.

Do you have your cupcake liners on display? Such a cute idea! I think it may have started with Kathy at Kathy's Cottage (if I'm wrong, please correct me and I'll change it.)

And remember the greatest love of all.....

When Jesus died on the cross for us

                                           Jesus Loves Us!

The nail is a reminder of His Love

                          Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope you receive a basket full of Valen-hearts and candy!!

                      And sweet cupcakes!
