I've found a great way to tell the stories is to do an album or 2-4 page spread on a theme, depending what it is. For example, my family has a traditional vacation we take every year to a certain beach. Instead of telling the story every year, I did 4 pages about the trip, our favorite sites, restaurants, activities, etc. It's neat to see all the pictures of the kids changing on the same pages. This way I also got everything "scrapped" and was able to focus on current events in our lives.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02582583925813368098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21326918.post-67775379205712337762008-07-18T07:50:00.000-04:002008-07-18T07:50:00.000-04:00You will love your new cannon! Since this is my family's 50th anniversary in the U.S. I have been working to sort and arrange a large number of accumulated photos. I have lots of albums but need to do more scrapbook projects to incorporate ephemera from special family events and milestones.
The system you use sounds very helpful in getting the job done systematically and attractively.Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17008155356923332277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21326918.post-26819693409573986822008-07-17T18:58:00.000-04:002008-07-17T18:58:00.000-04:00Wow, that camera looks daunting to me! I"ve bought the mini books, paper, embellishments and copied some of the picutres. For my parents' baby pictures I had to pull them out of a group photo but I did it. Recently, my daughter asked if i wanted to look at her supplies and see if there was anything I could use. I started doing this and she said she thought I could just do her pages for her while I was doing it so she gave me Birthday and vacation, etc.of the grands.
Thanks for the info on the camera. I have a digital but have been wanting one with more zoom power. i'll make a note. Keep posting aobut scrapbooking. I'm an apt pupil.
Mama BearLove Bears All Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04091529156071883508noreply@blogger.com
